The Ministry of Commerce announced, on Wednesday, the launch of a new car with very high specifications and environmentally friendly.
"The Toyota car is ancient, old and well-known in the Iraqi market," said Hashem Muhammad, director of the General Company for Car Trade in the Ministry of Commerce, noting that "the Crown car was launched, and it is not strange to the citizen, since the seventies have been available in the Iraqi market."
Muhammad added, "The car that was launched has very high specifications and a kind of luxury comparable to its counterparts in the seventies, as it was considered the best in terms of luxury," pointing out that "the car was launched with a modern model and a new shape, and it enjoys new specifications, being environmentally friendly, hybrid cars." It operates with electricity and regular fuel, and for the first time such quality enters Iraq, and it has a reservoir of more than 800 kilometers, and the consumption is very little.”
And Muhammad pointed out in an interview with the official news agency, that "the government is moving towards caring for the environment, and has given interest towards these cars, and if they enter Iraq, the customs tariff will be zero," noting that "the absence of customs on these cars, thus their prices become competitive."
