[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Representative Alia Nassif called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit a memorandum of reservation to the Security Council regarding the negotiations between Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Iran on the demarcation of the borders due to the Dorra gas field, stressing that The (basic) maritime borders of Iraq make it a partner in the Dorra field.
And she said in a statement today: “Iraq was previously subjected to great injustice through the blind implementation of international resolutions after 1991, especially Resolution 833, just as the Dorra gas field, according to the oldest maps (before 1982), is located within the (economic zone) of Iraq if we calculate 12 miles towards it from my areas (Al-Amaya port and Al-Basra port), but they cut off our sea extension.”
She added: "The negotiations that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are seeking to conduct with Iran to demarcate the borders without involving Iraq is a fool for us and a blow to the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which did not move a finger, although the issue falls within its responsibilities.”
Nassif stressed, "The need for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to break its silence and submit a memorandum of reservation to the Security Council, at least to record our position and to prove our right in the future, noting that the memorandum of reservation is not A serious thing that causes embarrassment to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the officials and diplomats who have strong relations with Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Iran."/ End7[/rtl]
