      Information/ Diyala..
The Popular Mobilization Forces confirmed on Friday that it had cut off all what it called the evil corridors between two governorates.
The leader of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Muhammad al-Tamimi, said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The terrorist ISIS relied on infiltration corridors between Salah al-Din and Diyala, especially with the activity of its cells in Mutaibija, al-Mayta, and Hamrin, in order to carry out terrorist operations in the liberated areas.”
He added, "The crowd adopted a strategy of encirclement, ambushes, deep penetration, and then deployment, which contributed to cutting off all evil corridors between the two governorates, which contributed to increasing security stability at a high rate, whether within the borders of Hawi al-Azim or the rest of the regions."
He pointed out that "the terrorist ISIS has ended in those areas, and our efforts to track down what remains of its sleeper cells continue and are achieving important successes in terms of uncovering its hideouts from time to time."
ISIS relied on the complexities of the complex terrain between Diyala and Salah al-Din to hide, infiltrate, and target liberated areas and villages during the past years.
