Government spokesman: {The Al-Aqsa Flood} is a response to the oppression of the Zionist occupation

Iraq called on the Arab League to convene urgently to discuss developments in the situation in Palestine, warning of continued escalation within the Palestinian territories.
The Presidency of the Republic, in a post on the “X” platform, renewed “Iraq’s firm position on the Palestinian issue, which expresses full support for the Palestinian people in achieving their full legitimate rights,” and condemned “strongly the brutal attacks being practiced against them.”
The presidency called on the international community to "assume its legal and moral responsibility to achieve justice and guarantee the legitimate rights of the people of Palestine."
For his part, government spokesman Bassem Al-Awadi said in a statement:
He added, "The operations carried out by the Palestinian people today are a natural result of the systematic oppression they have been subjected to since ancient times at the hands of the Zionist occupation authority, which has never adhered to international and UN resolutions. Therefore, we call on the international community to take action to put an end to the serious violations and restore the legitimate rights of the people." The Palestinians, who are still suffering from occupation, policies of racial discrimination, siege, transgression of sacred things, and violations of humanitarian values and principles.”
Al-Awadi continued, "We warn against continued escalation within the Palestinian territories, because it will affect the stability of the region. We also call on the League of Arab States to convene urgently to discuss developments in the dangerous situation in the Palestinian territories."
The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, made a comment on the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, in a blog post on the (X) website, saying: “We are following with pride the courageous attack and successful planning of the military operation carried out by the Al-Qassam forces, and with them their brothers, the Mujahideen from the Palestinian factions struggling against the Zionist occupation forces.”
The Popular Mobilization Forces issued a statement in which it considered the operation a decisive response and a voice rejecting all attacks by the Zionist occupation.
While the Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Qais al-Khazali, said: “The results of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood have warmed our hearts and the hearts of all believers and free resistance fighters in all parts of the earth since the morning, including the raids and capture operations of the usurping occupation soldiers.”
In turn, the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, considered the Palestinian resistance operations a natural reaction to the practices of the Zionist entity’s soldiers, calling on the international community to put an end to the entity’s policy in Palestine.
