The Iraqi Trade Bank Provides A Dollar Reservation Service For Travelers

The Iraqi Trade Bank issued a statement today, Wednesday, to announce the provision of an electronic reservation service to sell cash dollars to travelers. All valued customers wishing to benefit from this service are requested to fill out the reservation form via the electronic link below.

Requirements and purchase mechanism: Once you complete the electronic reservation procedures and schedule your visit at the relevant bank branch, you will be instructed to deposit the specified amount in Iraqi dinars in the branch. Customers must provide the required documents and follow the mechanism shown below:
Requirements: 1- A valid Iraqi passport with a valid visa or residence permit. 2- Civil status identity card, citizenship certificate, or unified national card. 3- Residence card. 4- A valid travel ticket. 5- A pledge not to buy foreign exchange from another party inside Iraq during a period of (one month).
Purchase mechanism: 1- The amount is deposited in Iraqi dinars in the specified branch via the electronic system, provided that the amount in Iraqi dinars is equivalent to the value of the dollar share allocated for travel. 2- The dollar share is delivered to the customer from the Iraqi Trade Bank outlet at Baghdad International Airport only, upon presenting the deposit slip given to the customer when depositing the amount in Iraqi dinars. 3- Customers can deposit the amount a maximum of two (2) days before the travel date. 4- The dollar is delivered after completing the travel procedures (boarding pass) and after stamping the passport. 5- The bank outlet at Baghdad International Airport designated for the purposes of delivering travelers’ dollars will be available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
