Abdul Razzaq Al-Dulaimi, one of the sheikhs and notables of Anbar Governorate, warned on Monday of the repercussions of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and leader of the Taqadum Party, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, using the Accountability and Justice Law paper to remove his opponents from the electoral arena.

Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to the Maaluma Agency, “Al-Halbousi is using his influence to keep his opponent from participating in the upcoming local elections, as his movements resulted in the expulsion of the sheikh of the Mahamda clan, Ali Hammad Al-Shallal, and depriving him of running in the upcoming local elections on the grounds of being included in the Accountability and Justice Law, noting that Al-Shallal has an official document.” These allegations are proven to be false.”
He added, "Al-Halbousi is trying, by all means, to find a pretext to exclude his opponents from participating in the local council elections."
He pointed out that "Al-Halbousi succeeded in the game of removing candidates after attracting them to the ranks of his party and then abandoning them days before the names of the candidates were announced by the Election Commission and depriving them of participation after they were surprised that their names were not on the lists."
Al-Dulaimi pointed out, “Al-Halbousi allocated huge sums of money to keep his competitors out of the electoral arena to ensure that his party wins seats that qualify it to remain in the administration of the affairs of Anbar Governorate.” Ended/12a
