The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Saturday (November 11, 2023), that elections are the only path to the security and stability of the state.
Al-Maliki said in his speech during the election festival for the State of Law coalition candidates in the governorates of Karbala, Najaf and Babil, "We are about to establish provincial councils built on solid constitutional foundations."
He added, "The elections are the only way to the security and stability of the state, and through them we want to preserve the unity and security of Iraq," noting that "the elections are a solid will and a decision that cannot be undone and will be held on time," considering the provincial councils an essential part of the process of building the state and building... Governorates.
