{Political: Al-Furat News} Jaafar Ismail Al-Lami, the candidate of the National State Forces Alliance for Wasit Governorate, explained in a sequence {29} that there is no exploitation of the governorate’s resources by activating the economic situation and combating unemployment and drugs.
Al-Lami told {Al-Furat News} agency: “Wasit Governorate is considered one of the governorates with multiple resources. It is commercial because of the presence of the border crossing and an agricultural portfolio due to its higher production of wheat and barley crops, in addition to the presence of tourist sites that can be used as tourist sites as well.”
He continued: "Unfortunately, there is no exploitation of the governorate's resources, and there is a clear exploitation of authority and a lack of investment in the authority, and there is no employment in agriculture in it, in addition to the cessation of factories in it and their failure to invest in improving the agricultural situation."
He stated, “These projects manage resources, absorb unemployment, and treat quite a few social cases that affect the peace and stability of the family. By activating the economic situation, we can combat unemployment, drugs, and any socially unacceptable behavior of young people.”
