    Information/Baghdad..
The symbolism of the gavel in the House of Representatives indicates the extent of the responsibility of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, who uses it to mark the start and end of sessions, vote on important decisions and laws, and to impose his authority and control. However, the ousted president transformed it from a tool for democracy into a tool to silence representatives, in addition to using it as a tool for chaos in the event of important laws. .

With the anticipation of the announcement of the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, the gavel is broadcast from the fair hand, allowing it to act in accordance with the correct laws and regulations to support the people and to direct its beats to the most important voices of the people in the coming days.
    The split breaks Al-Halbousi's back
The leader of the Azm Alliance, Haider Al-Mulla, confirms that eight dissident MPs from the Taqadum Party, headed by Muhammad al-Halbousi, have joined the Azm Alliance, indicating that the Taqadum Party is now out of the competition for the presidency of Parliament.
Al-Mulla said in a televised interview followed by “Al-Maalouma” that “eight Taqadum representatives defected from the party and officially joined the Azm Alliance,” indicating that “the forces competing for the presidency of Parliament will be limited to Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani and Salem Al-Issawi.”

He added, "The first round in choosing the Speaker of Parliament will sort out the views of the political blocs, but we rule out the candidate who came forward to become the Speaker of Parliament because the specifications do not apply to them."
He pointed out that "half of the representatives of Taqadum will attend Wednesday's session, even with the boycott of Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the choice for the presidency of Parliament will be absolutely Iraqi."
The position of the Shiite forces regarding the presidential seat
The representative of the State of Law coalition, Sardi Al-Muhayyawi, confirmed the intention of the Coordination Framework Forces to hold a meeting to support one candidate for the presidency of the House of Representatives before tomorrow’s session, Wednesday.
Al-Mahyawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The coordination framework will hold a meeting before tomorrow’s session, Wednesday, to agree on supporting MP Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani for the position of Speaker of Parliament,” noting that “Sunni forces have reduced the number of candidates to three.”
He added, "Tomorrow's session will witness a complete quorum, due to the keenness of all political forces to fill the vacant seat of the Presidency of Parliament."
Al-Mahiawi pointed out, “The forces of the coordinating framework are very keen for him to occupy the position of Speaker of Parliament as soon as possible, provided that a person with experience and acceptance by all political forces is available.”

The Presidency of the House of Representatives had set tomorrow, Wednesday, at two in the afternoon, as the date for holding an extraordinary session to elect a new Speaker of the House of Representatives.
      Criticism of the candidates
In addition, the representative for Ishraqa Kanoon, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, criticized the mechanism for selecting the Speaker of the House of Representatives, calling for respect for the internal regulations of the House of Representatives and for members to be informed of the names of the candidates and their CVs before setting the date for the election session.
Al-Khafaji said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The Presidency of the Council should have informed the representatives before the session was held and distributed their CVs, otherwise the election would be considered illegal.”
He added, "We did not receive the CVs of the candidates for the Presidency of Parliament, even though the legal framework stipulates that the CVs should arrive 24 hours before the session."
He pointed out that "his bloc rejects the mechanism for electing a new speaker of Parliament without having members of the House of Representatives and reviewing their CVs."
     Achieving sovereignty
The representative of the Al-Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc, Rafiq Al-Salhi, indicates the intention of the political forces to present several files before the next Speaker of Parliament, indicating that activating the decision to withdraw American forces is a top priority for parliamentary work.

Al-Salhi said in an interview with the Al-Ma’louma Agency, “Article 58 stipulates that the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, or fifty members of the Council may call the House of Representatives to an extraordinary session, and the meeting shall be limited to the issues that necessitated the invitation to it.”
He added that "preserving sovereignty and removing foreign forces are the most prominent demands of the political forces from the new president," pointing out that "there is popular and political support for taking a positive step in this regard." End 25
