On Tuesday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party counted the amount of money sent from the federal government to the region, while it considered the loans sent by Baghdad to be "small" and indicated the method of recovering them.

The leader of the party, Wafaa Muhammad, said in an interview with the “Al-Ma’louma” agency, “The federal government, after the last payment that it sent, which amounted to approximately 700 billion dinars in the form of loans, the volume of funds reached specifically 4.5 trillion dinars.”
He added, "Baghdad recently agreed to send three months' sums to the Kurdistan government in order to cover the salaries of the region's employees," noting that "this money will be deducted from the region's budget share for the year 2023."
The leader of Barzani's party explained, "The federal government did not grant this money in the form of a gift. Rather, it was originally given to the Kurdistan government, and is now being sent in the form of loans."
Muhammad stated, “These loans are few and not sufficient for salaries, and we reached an agreement with the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, in this regard.”
The former Kurdish MP, Ghaleb Muhammad, promised earlier that sending financial loans to the Kurdistan government would not solve the “problem” of employee salaries, stressing that the problems of Baghdad and Erbil affect the Kurdish citizen.
The suffering of employees in the Kurdistan region continues as a result of the unjust policy pursued by the Barzani family by seizing all the money sent by the central government, in addition to placing its hand on all oil revenues, border crossings, and taxes. Ended/25 Rs
