The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, confirmed today, Friday, that the martyrdom of Al-Nasr leaders was the result of a treacherous terrorist crime that represented a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty.
Zidane said during his speech at the central official forum to commemorate the leaders of Al-Nasr on the fourth anniversary of their martyrdom: “The martyrdom of the leaders of Al-Nasr was the result of a treacherous terrorist crime that represented a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty and a violation of international covenants.”
He added, "The immortal martyrs Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and Qasem Soleimani are heroes of the battles of victory over the ISIS terrorists," pointing out that "despite the pain of the anniversary, commemorating it is a duty for every honorable patriot in gratitude for what the two martyrs provided in the battles for liberation and ending terrorist gangs."
Zidane continued: "We seek an excuse for those who do not know the truth about the two martyrs, and whoever knows the truth and deliberately distorts it, his opinion has no value. The two immortal martyrs are the most noble people we have ever known, and they are our glory, our pride, and the makers of our glory."
