[rtl]Today, Wednesday, the Consulate of the People's Republic of China in Erbil Governorate, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, opened a center for issuing entry visas for citizens wishing to visit its country.[/rtl]
[rtl]This came during a ceremony held in the consulate building on the occasion of the opening of the center and attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, Cui Wei.[/rtl]
[rtl]In this regard, Erbil Governor Omid Khoshnaw stressed in his speech the strengthening of relations between the Kurdistan Region and China, especially trade and industrial relations, describing the opening of this center in Erbil as “important.”[/rtl]
[rtl]Khoshnaw praised the Chinese embassy and consulate for opening the center, which aims to provide facilities to citizens, tourists, businessmen and investors.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The opening of the Chinese visa issuance center in Erbil is very important to us, and we always asked during the meetings and emphasized the opening of the center, because in the past citizens had to visit Baghdad or Istanbul to obtain visas," adding, "But now you can obtain visas." [rtl]It is worth noting that the China Visa Issuance Center is an official center for China and citizens and residents of the Kurdistan Region can apply for visas.[/rtl]
