    The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, confirmed that the nature of the threats has changed, stressing the need for more support from the United States of America.[/size]
    [size=45]Masrour Barzani said in a televised interview with the American channel NBC: “The nature of threats has changed. We believe that we need more support militarily, economically, and politically,” he added, “and because the challenges we face are different from the ISIS threat that we faced together, we expect more support from the United States.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued: “We need more American assistance, and here we do not mean that we need more forces, no, but rather we need more military capabilities to develop the capabilities of the Peshmerga forces, not only to defend our people, but to defend everyone who lives in Kurdistan Region".[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government pointed out that “it is not important to know who is behind the terrorist acts, but rather we must confront terrorism itself,” explaining that “the nature of the threats has changed, and we need more support and the survival of the United States and the international coalition.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed that “the nature of the threats has changed, and we believe that we need more assistance from the military, economic, and political aspects, because the challenges we currently face are different from the ISIS threats that we faced together, and we expect to receive more assistance from the United States of America.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added: “Our American allies tell us that they would like to see a strong Kurdistan. How is that? This means that we have to be strong in economic, political and military terms, to be able to protect ourselves from threats.”[/size]
