    [size=45]Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani invited his Danish counterpart, Meta Frederiksen, to visit Iraq, while stressing the importance of establishing strategic partnerships with the European Union.[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met this Friday evening with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024. At the beginning of the meeting, he extended an invitation to Frederiksen to visit Iraq, and discussions were also held. Bilateral relations between the two countries, and the prospects for developing them in various fields, especially in the economic fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister stressed, “The importance of establishing strategic partnerships with the European Union in general, and bilateral partnerships with European Union countries,” noting “Iraq’s desire to cooperate with Danish companies, with their extensive experience to contribute to development and strategic projects.”[/size]
    [size=45]For her part, Frederiksen stressed her country's keenness to develop cooperation relations with Iraq in all fields, and to expand them to include the sectors of the economy, industry, agriculture and other investment sectors.[/size]
