The representative of Dhi Qar Governorate, Ola Odeh, today, Saturday, called on the Ministry of Transport to complete Nasiriyah International Airport.
Odeh told Al-Maalouma, “The Ministry of Transport is required to speed up the stages of completion of Nasiriyah International Airport and the development project that passes through Dhi Qar Governorate, noting that it discussed with the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas, the stages of completion of the Nasiriyah International Airport project and the development project that passes through Dhi Qar Governorate.” .
She pointed out that "the two projects will provide job opportunities for young people and graduates from Dhi Qar Governorate."
The Nasiriyah International Airport project is located outside the center of Dhi Qar Governorate, with an area of about 50,800 square metres. The project content includes the new passenger building, the air control building, the cargo building, and the airport’s 25-kilometre connecting lines and affiliated facilities. Ended/25 Q.
