Head of the Military Industrialization Authority told {Al-Sabah}: We are ready to meet the needs of the security forces

The head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Engineer Mustafa Ati, expressed his confidence in the authority’s ability to meet the needs of our security and military forces for types of light and medium weapons, as well as various types of ammunition. He explained in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that the authority is continuing to establish factories specialized in producing weapons, armored vehicles, and drones according to The latest international specifications in order to achieve self-sufficiency, revealing the production of the first large advanced combat armored vehicle that will be field tested soon.
Ati stated that “the Military Industrialization Authority was established pursuant to Law 25 of 2019, and its central formations consist of 7 operating departments, as well as two formations affiliated with the Military Industrialization, and that these formations were from the formations of the former Military Industrialization Authority,” and pointed out that “the two formations affiliated with the Military Industrialization include Several factories, including approximately 14 factories in the General Military Industries Company, as well as 12 factories in the General Company for Copper and Mechanical Industries.”
