as part of his plans to create an interactive partnership with the academic institution, the Supreme Council for Youth was a guest of the University of Technology by holding a student day within the “Tarabut” program that the council had launched earlier, and the discussion space on “artificial intelligence” was one of the most important topics of the student day’s sessions. .
The Prime Minister’s Advisor for Youth Affairs, a member of the Supreme Council for Youth, Dr. Qasim Al-Dhalimi, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “Within the (Tarabut) program launched by the Supreme Council for Youth and under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, the University of Technology was established In cooperation with the Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Youth, a student day was held as part of the government program to pay attention to the youth sector.”
He stated, “The Student Day program included several topics; the first of which was a dialogue session to introduce the Council and what its role is in caring for university students, and also what are the programs for graduate students and their integration into the labor market and the private sector.”
Al-Zalmi pointed out that “the Supreme Council for Youth is interested in this promising group of students and providing direct support to them, and paying attention to university students is very important for several reasons. These students represent the future of innovation and technological development and the possibility of providing innovative solutions to current and future challenges in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and others.” In addition to encouraging innovations and scientific research that contribute to enhancing economic and social development in societies.”
He explained, “The second topic of the Student Day included a lecture on artificial intelligence clubs launched by the Supreme Council for Youth in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Artificial Intelligence and Baghdad Governorate, and talking about developing the capabilities of youth and the importance of artificial intelligence in technological development, industry progress, and solving difficult problems quickly.” effectiveness, as well as improving the quality of life in fields such as medicine, education, and others, and enhancing productivity and saving time and resources in many economic sectors.” He explained that “the third axis of the Student Day is displaying the products and innovations of students. Displaying the products and innovations of students is of great importance, as it contributes to enhancing the culture of “Innovation and leadership among students and encourages the development of their skills and the acquisition of
scientific expertise.”
For his part, the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, stated in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “The University of Technology, over the past two years, launched the (Eco System) program with the participation of students, professors, graduates of the university and all administrative and scientific departments present in the university, for real cooperation.” And come up with the best possible way to employ this qualitative number of our youth, especially graduates of the University of Technology.”
He pointed out, "Continuing to support youth energies at the university, through what the university recently launched in the Innovative Student Club, as well as the opening of graduation projects for students of the Control and Systems Engineering Department."
