[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Parliamentary Legal Committee pledged to study the Bar Association’s observations in order to reach the final version of the proposal to amend Law No. (173) of 1965. Before submitting it to a vote in the House of Representatives.
The committee affirmed, during a joint hearing with representatives of the Iraqi Bar Association today, Monday, its keenness to follow up on the work of the union and develop its performance for the sake of the rule of law.
The committee also discussed the proposals submitted by members of the Bar Council and the lawyers’ chambers to identify the obstacles and find effective solutions, to come up with a formula that reflects The distinctive image of lawyers and proves the foundations of applying the law./End 5[/rtl]
