The head of the Association of Tourism Companies and Offices in Sulaymaniyah expected the tourism sector in the region to grow by about 60% during the summer. The president of the association, Ataa Anwar, told Al-Sabah: Tourism is booming daily in general due to the presence of well-thought-out plans by the government, especially those responsible for this sector in the region in cooperation with the private sector, expecting the tourism sector in the region in general and Sulaymaniyah Governorate in particular to grow by about 60%. % than it was before. He pointed out that the Association of Tourism Companies is specialized in bringing delegations to the governorate by bringing about a radical change in many tourist areas for the better by order of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Regional Government in preparation for receiving tourists in the summer season, citing as an example the Sarcinar resort, which returned to its golden age with advanced technologies and new construction.
