    Information / Baghdad..
The Parliamentary Services Committee confirmed today, Saturday, that the decision of the Ministry of Oil to raise the price of gasoline will create problems at the market level and the citizen will bear financial burdens as a result of the decision’s impact on raising the prices of goods and commodities, indicating that the committee will not stand idly by regarding this decision. It will take a firm stance to prevent the ministry from retracting its decision.
Committee member MP Mahma Khalil told Al-Maalouma, “The Oil Ministry’s decision to raise the price of improved and premium gasoline was surprising and was not successful, ignoring the opinion of the legislative authorities.”
He added, "The citizen views the Ministry of Oil as a body that supports his daily livelihood and not as a burden," noting that "the committee will not stand idly by regarding this decision and will have a firm stance on the Ministry's retraction of its decision." Ended / 25 AD
