    "Investigation into dollar transfers"
“Services” asks the Central Bank about billions of foreign banks in Iraq

    Baghdad – 964

Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Services Bloc called on the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Integrity Commission to open an investigation, to find out the entities operating within the Central Bank and those responsible for money transfers abroad through foreign banks, describing this and describing the bank’s decisions as “double.”

A service block statement, a copy of which the 964 network received:

We are surprised by the duplicity in the Central Bank’s decisions and policies, which in all their aspects point to the waste of public money and the creation of gluts for a small number of beneficiaries, which in general did not achieve anything for Iraq and its people, which made Iraq lose billions of dollars annually due to differences in transferring hard currency abroad, which provided a service on a plate of platter. He went to the corruption mafias without any benefit to the public interest.
We would like to point out here one of the funny and crying ironies, which is foreign banks making billions of dinars in profits from hard currency transfers. From Iraq abroad without providing any service or benefit for the public interest at a time when it was possible to develop a mechanism and plan to transfer these amounts through government banks, represented by the Commercial Bank of Iraq (TBI), due to its distinguished relationships with foreign correspondent banks in addition to the Iraqi private banks, which are also It has similar relationships with correspondent banks in countries around the world and benefits from these differences in order to invest them in building schools and hospitals and supporting infrastructure reconstruction plans.
From this standpoint, the Parliamentary Services Bloc calls on the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Integrity Commission, and the gentlemen of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee to open an investigation and find out the entities working within the Central Bank that imposed such illegal measures surrounded by clear suspicions of corruption and caused the waste of public money.
[color:ff6a=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)]The bloc also confirms that it will work to follow up this file within Parliament with the relevant committees, especially parliamentary integrity and finance, to find out the details of this file and reveal the facts to public opinion in order to achieve victory for the Iraqi people and their wealth.
