    Shafaq News / Iraqi President , Fuad Masum called all parties to create reasons for national reconciliation on the basis of enhanced identity with democracy of the country and in turn increase citizen’s participation and brotherhood and the values ​​of justice, he noted that Iraq is now at a historic moment which is the closest to achieve it.


    Masum's comments came in a speech addressed to the Iraqi people on the occasion of the anniversary of the ninth of April and the fall of the former regime, received by “Shafaq News”.


    Masum said that the Iraqi people "remember in such days the anniversary of the fall of dictatorship on the ninth of April 2003 and the beginning of initiating the establishment of a democratic federal state," adding that the completion of the era of hateful dictatorship is most important in which Iraqis have done in various political, religious, social, cultural levels and with the help of the international coalition led by forces of the United States, with the civil and logistical support from many parts of the international community and the United Nations and its organizations.


    He added that the success of the people in ending the occupation and the restoration of full sovereignty is an important and essential result of the peaceful political process in spite of all the efforts that hinder terrorism , violence and conspiracy in all its forms, which still face and continue to face the people of Iraq with valiant challenge and courage.


    He said that Iraqis have managed to rebuild many of the structures and institutions of the state, which had been damaged by the reckless dictatorship policies and by wars and circumstances after the ninth of April.


    He pointed out that continue beating terrorism strongly and the restoration of the remaining of the occupied cities and villages from the remnants of ISIS and extremism is at the forefront of the recovery of Iraq to its suitable climate for the construction, development and preparedness..
    Masum believed that Iraq is now at a historic moment closer to achieving it, but he also said that sincere efforts and intentions will be supported to accelerate the pace of work in order to achieve the desired objectives in this regard.


    The international coalition forces led by the US have intervened militarily in such days in 2003 to topple Saddam Hussein's regime, which ruled Iraq for three decades.
