Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Othman al-Jihishi, of the State of Law Coalition criticized the heated statements among the MPs, calling them to “Avoid such statements inside the parliament.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday, he said “The MP represents the Iraqi people and they swore to protect the constitution and the unity of Iraq,” noting that “Any heated statement by any MP will make the MPs hold the responsibility.”
“The Iraqis are in a difficult situation due to the instable security and economic situations where any political tensions will negatively affect them,” he added.
He called “The MPs to adhere to the national interests and avoid the heated statements in addition to adhering to the dialogue to settle the crisis and serve the Iraqi people.”
