BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the province of Basra, Hussein Al-Mansouri
demanded the Kuwaiti government to take Basra province, with its people,
because they did not see any help from the central government to its
people and their rights" as he put it.

    He said, at a news
conference attended by MPs from the province Mansour al-Tamimi and Jawad
Albzona "Kuwait had entered a depth of 16 kilometers inside Iraqi
territory and we call on the House of Representatives to find a certain
mechanism to host foreign minister to discuss this issue and a lot of
    other issues."

Mansouri sarcastically added "Basra itself is not
getting advantage from the central government or any other state, so
Kuwait should to take Basra and its people to live in Kuwait because the
central government does not help them or claim their rights." / End
