A member of the special parliamentary committee to dissolve the housing crisis in Iraq, Haider Mutlaq al-Kaabi for the drafting committee for the bill to solve the housing crisis, benefiting from the experience of Lebanon so.
Kaabi said in a press statement, "The committee in its meeting today has developed a preliminary draft of a bill the Organization for Housing Act intended to provide housing for those who do not have residential land using funds from the financial budget reserve".
He added, "The committee has benefited from the experience of Lebanon in this crisis," adding that "the citizen and after the initiation of the work of this institution after law legislation in parliament can submit an application to the province or the Ministry of Labour or the concerned authorities and allotted residential land adopted either by investment or allocation the beneficiary of construction and is usually in the apartment complex. "
Kaabi pointed to "the need for Iraq to now more than two and a half million housing units."
