    Baghdad
    (newsletter). Denied Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki played down the
    recent charging of Maliki's higher salary among the Presidents in the
    world.

    He said the Prime Minister's media adviser Ali al-Moussawi
    in a press release received (News Agency) a copy of it: that Al-Maliki
    while recognizing the functions found that monthly salary allocated 35
    million Iraqi dinar but called for reducing it, although much less than
    the salary of the President and his two deputies.

    He added: that
    Al-Maliki waiver of half his salary to state coffers and called for
    legislation of a special law and special grades presidencies salaries
    reduced the salaries of the three presidencies and special grades make
    it less variation with the salaries of other employees in the State.

    He
    continued: this law and select Prime salary 12 million Iraqi dinar and 8
    million as well as a member of Parliament, but Parliament amended this
    paragraph and make 10 million in Attorney's salary kept the Minister's
    salary and the salaries of the presidencies, that the Federal Court
    dismissed the law a few weeks ago.

    The
    Iraqi Government denied Belgian study that revealed that Prime Minister
    Nouri al-Maliki is leading all Kings and Presidents of the countries of
    the world with the highest annual salary, noting that Maliki salary
    allocated 35 million dinars, equivalent to us $ 27350-23.994 received
    only half of it since his appointment at the previous session and the
    waiver of the rest of the State Treasury.
