    The Minister of Trade and agency Salman Jumaili, about the intention of Iraq's signing of memorandums of understanding with the Petroleum Exporting Countries and the first of the Islamic Republic of Iran.


    A statement from the Ministry of Commerce, got "direction Press" a copy of it today that "Salman Jumaili, Minister of Planning and Minister of trade agency Iranian economic delegation on a visit to Iraq, headed by Deputy Minister of Industry met initiative, which includes representatives of the Iranian private sector and the Chamber of Commerce, the Iraqi-Iranian joint."
     

    He Jumaili during the meeting to "the presence of Iraqi desire to develop economic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the completion of the talks, which began in Tehran a few months ago and reach positive results contribute to the development of the relationship between the two neighbors." 

     

    "The talks with the Iranian economic delegation included three axes head of the most prominent subject of customs tariffs between the two countries and this is at the core terms of reference for the government and parliament, and needs a political decision to introduce a draft law to parliament for approval and the second thing in the talks dealt with standardization and quality control and the need to be accepted Iranian goods by Iraqi standards after the agreement on the mechanics of working with those specifications with the Iranian Altqays devices.     He added that "our negotiations on this side started since last year, and we seek to move them towards an agreement between the parties," stressing that "Iraq will depend on your Altqays and quality control in all tests and this device was able to carry out inspections in 2003, before the existence of three border ports" .
     

    He pointed to "the introduction of 23 new outlets, and this needs to be greater capabilities which make Iraq a contract with a global closer companies over the past years and there is a tendency for the renewal of the contract with these companies third trend is the signing of memorandums of understanding with the exporting countries of Iraq and this new experience will be beginning with the Islamic Republic We seek in this aspect to the implementation of the Iraqi specifications. " 


    Jumaili also said that "the talks also dealt with the participation of companies in the Islamic Republic of engagements carried out by the Ministry of Commerce in a private oil and flour own vocabulary ration card subject and we have a memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides is possible to work out in the future." 

     

    And that "the coming period will witness further development in relations between the two countries under the common desire and overcome the obstacles to their advancement, expressing hope that the coming period would witness further development and growth and an increase in trade and economic exchanges between the two countries, especially since there is a common desire to develop this relations to a larger and wider ranges. "

     

    For his part, Deputy Minister of Industry in the Islamic Republic of Iran that "the visit of economic delegation comes within the framework of a common desire to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries and resolve outstanding problems, stressing that there is a priority in the provision of raw materials to Iraq to support the Iraqi national industries." 


    He noted "the importance of equivalent standards between the two countries to facilitate the entry of goods into the two countries, especially since Iran has close companies as possible have checked before they reach the border crossing points and there are delays because of the screening procedures that cause upheaval in the process of entry of goods," stressing "the importance of joint meetings they contribute to resolving the problems and reach fruitful results contribute to the development of economic relations between the two countries. "
