    US Defense Secretary Jim Matisse said Tuesday that it was in his country's interest to maintain a nuclear deal with Iran.
    At a hearing in the US Senate Armed Services Committee, Matisse said it was in the interest of his country to stick to the nuclear deal with Iran.
    Asked if he believed it was in the interest of the United States to maintain the international agreement, Matisse said: "Yes, Senator, it is in the interest of the United States' national security.
