    The Committee on Agriculture and Water parliamentary, on Thursday, the collection of more than 40 signatures to demand the House of Representatives to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the water crisis in the country.
    Member of the committee Mohammed al-Chihoud said in a statement that his committee "collected more than 40 signatures for an emergency session and hosting the Minister of Water Resources Hassan al-Janabi to discuss the problem of water scarcity in the southern provinces."
    "The southern provinces are living today a real crisis because of water scarcity, especially in the provinces of Maysan province, which is one of the most affected provinces, foremost of which is Alkhala, Justice, Masharah and Maimouna."
    The committee announced on Wednesday the approval of the Presidency of Parliament to host the Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources in Parliament to discuss the water crisis and its serious repercussions. Ending / 25
