The National Autonomous University of Mexico (SNU) has announced the awarding of the Nuclear Physics Prize to the Brazilian child Sucell Guadalupe Cruz Lopez, 8, becoming the youngest recipient of the award worldwide.
Guadalupe has been able to create a solar water heater based on some simple materials available such as wooden bars, plastic bottles, refrigerator hoses and other neglected objects.
The child also tested the heater after it was installed on the roof of the house, and it was heated 10 liters of water per day.
For its part, Guadalupe donated the heater to low-income people to protect them from cold water, at a price not exceeding $ 10.
