Iraq receives two Boeing aircraft

HASSANI The Ministry of Transport has received two new planes as part of its contract with the US company Boeing to join the Iraqi Airways fleet, while it managed to achieve more than six million dollars for the ground services at Baghdad airport during the past two months .
"Iraqi Airways has received two new planes as part of its contract with Boeing," the ministry's media director Laith al-Rubaie told Sabah. "A group of young pilots led them from the city of Seattle to Baghdad International Airport.
He added that Minister of Transport Kazem Al-Alami has directed the extension of the contracts of young pilots and facilitate the procedures of their movement between airports, as well as the establishment of courses required to cope with the global development in the world of civil aviation
For his part, the director of the Iraqi airline company, Farid Miran, for the "morning" to achieve an increase in financial revenues obtained from the ground services at Baghdad International Airport in amounts exceeded six million dollars and provided to Arab and foreign airlines.
Noting that the number of aircraft crossing the airspace of Iraq amounted to 9977 aircraft in January.[/rtl]
