    Gold continued to contract on Tuesday, coinciding with the dollar's decline slightly, with fears of rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
    US President Donald Trump is due to announce Tuesday his final decision on a nuclear deal with Iran that would affect oil and gold markets.
    The dollar index, which measures the move of the greenback against a basket of six currencies, fell 0.02 percent to 92.59, after reaching yesterday's high of 2018.
    By 0655 GMT, gold futures had settled for June delivery at 1314.1 dollars an ounce.
    While the spot price of yellow metal fell slightly by 0.01 percent to $ 1314.08 an ounce.
    Among other precious metals, silver rose 0.15 percent to $ 16.52 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.05 percent to $ 912.03 an ounce. Finished
