The Parliamentary Integrity Committee confirmed on Sunday that there is hope in the fight against corruption after the parliament session yesterday to discuss anti-corruption efforts.
"Through yesterday's session, we believe that there is hope for the future, that there is a real fight against corruption, and we need to translate the meeting yesterday into reality," said Hesham al-Suhail, a member of the committee.
"We will follow up with Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, the mechanisms that he will use to fight corruption, especially as we do not need a theoretical, but we need to work effectively."
