{Politics: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed today, Sunday, the need for electoral security and the integrity of the upcoming elections.
A presidential statement received by the Al-Furat News Agency, a copy of it, stated that Saleh received "in the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the Secretary-General of the Peoples of Islam Party - Organization of Iraq Khudair Khuzaie, and they discussed developments in the country, stressing the need to enhance security and stability in the country, confront terrorism and protect social cohesion." And unify the national ranks, pointing out the importance of the upcoming elections and holding them on time, and the necessity of this coinciding with the creation of appropriate conditions for their organization in a manner that guarantees their integrity and fairness and achieves the free will of the Iraqis in order for it to be a path towards meeting the desired reforms and the basic requirements of citizens.
