Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein discussed, on Thursday, with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, bilateral relations and issues of concern to Iraq and Kuwait.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "Minister Fouad Hussein met his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in Riyadh."
He added, "The bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, stressing the need to deepen them to achieve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, and discussing issues of concern to Iraq, the State of Kuwait, and the Arab region."
