Earth News/ The Ministry of Transport announced today, Wednesday, the transfer of 9,700 tons of urea fertilizer during the first half of this month, for the benefit of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The ministry said in a press statement received by Earth News that "the fleet of the General Company for Land Transport, transported 9,700 tons of fertilizers from the Khor Al-Zubair plant in Basra to the warehouses of the Ministry of Agriculture deployed in all governorates of Iraq, after renewing the transport contract for the third time with the General Company for Agricultural Supplies." .
She added, "This quantity was transferred by (232) shifts through the government company's fleet to deliver this vital substance to farmers, to contribute to the success of the winter farming plan, which positively reflects on the abundance of the national product and floods the market with local products."
