[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The deputy of the State of Law Coalition, Alia Nassif, held the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the entity that ran it between (2006-2014) responsible for selling the Iraqi Khor Abdullah channel to Kuwait, calling on the executive, legislative and judicial authorities, national forces, jurists, intellectuals and activists to reopen this file.
And she said in a statement today: “Khor Abdullah is an Iraqi waterway for hundreds of years and bears the name of a visual person who is (Abdullah Al-Tamimi), and people in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (sold) the canal in exchange for a huge bribe from Kuwait, and when we published details about the matter, we were fined 20 million dinars by the Publication Court.
Nassif wondered: "What is the fault of the people who might lose the Al-Faw port project because of Kuwait's control of Khor Abdullah after a corrupt and traitorous person sold it? Does the story end with Kuwait's victory over a country the size of Iraq In history, people and civilization, and Kuwaiti leaders boasting of their victories and success in crushing Iraq and that they took (Khawa) from the Iraqis?! Then is there a person who can explain the issue to (some) our purebred clans that fight among themselves sometimes with mortars and stop their battles during international football tournaments and tell them that there is an external enemy that has unjustly defeated us?!
And she showed: "The theft of Khawr Abdullah took place when Iraq was under Chapter VII, that is, when it was considered - in theory - incompetent, and today Iraq began to recover and declare itself as a strong and sovereign state, and therefore The time has come to restore our rights.”
Nassif continued: "The executive, legislative and judicial authorities, human rights activists and activists must reopen this file and hold the party that was running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accountable at that time, then start a firm foreign policy towards Kuwait (undertaken by the Ministry of Defense) and start restoring our land and sea borders without the need for negotiations.” / End9[/rtl]
