    Information / Anbar..
An official source confirmed, on Monday, that Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani directed the formation of an audit committee to solve the problem of suspended salaries for the families of the martyrs and those injured as a result of terrorist operations in Anbar.
The source said in a statement to the Maalouma Agency, “Al-Sudani instructed the concerned authorities to form an audit committee to solve and address all problems that prevent the payment of salaries to the families of martyrs and those injured as a result of terrorist operations, and to resolve this file in accordance with legal frameworks, and to refer everyone proven to be involved in fraudulent operations to the judiciary and disburse the funds.” All financial dues for fundamental transactions were audited by committees formed by the Anbar Retirement Department and the Martyrs Foundation.”
He added, "The committee will resolve this controversial file and announce the results of the audit of the withheld salaries."
He stated, "The committee headed by the former Anbar Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Nasser Al-Ghannam, revealed the existence of about 9,000 fraudulent transactions, as a result of which a number of officials in the Anbar Martyrs Foundation were referred for investigation, and they are still under investigation to this day."
He explained, "The Federal Integrity Committee had earlier arrested the Anbar Retirement Director, Anas Al-Alwani, after he was involved in corruption files and falsification of the transactions of martyrs and those injured as a result of terrorist operations, in addition to seizing lists of fake names on Al-Alwani's mobile device."
He pointed out that "the withholding of a number of salaries of martyrs and those affected by terrorist operations came against the backdrop of uncovering forgery operations after confessions made by detainees who were members of the institution." Ended / 12a
