    The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, announced today, Tuesday, the approval by the seventh governorate of the rail and land tracks of the development road.
    Al-Saadawi said, in a statement received by “Al-Iqtisad News,” that “the Ministry has completed the procedures for approving the paths of the land highway and railway development road with the local government of Saladin Governorate,” noting that “the General Company for Iraqi Railways signed today a joint report with the authorities concerned with the project.” The road to development in Salah al-Din Governorate.
    He added, "The initial designs for the two lanes of the road passing through Salah al-Din Governorate included the establishment of 6 stations for transporting passengers and goods in the cities of Samarra, Baiji, and Tikrit," explaining that "the distance of the two lanes is 236 square kilometers."
     He pointed out that “the concerned authorities in the governorate indicated in the joint report the conflicts and property ownership belonging to citizens, government departments and ministries,” stressing that “the ministry seeks, in coordination with the local government in Salah al-Din, to find effective and quick solutions to these conflicts, and then begin completing the final designs for the two land routes.” Expressways and railways passing through the governorate.
    While the Director General of the General Railway Company, Younis Khaled Jawad Al-Kaabi, stated, “In the spirit of commitment to the plans established for the year of achievements 2024, in the governorates, and in completion of the Development Road Project, this year will witness the completion of visits and tours in the rest of the governorates to complete the signing of all minutes.”
    He continued, "A number of other governorates will announce the completion of development requirements soon."
