    [rtl]A source in the North Oil Company in Kirkuk Governorate (255 km north of the capital, Baghdad) reported on Friday that the company's oil production had risen to more than 360,000 barrels per day.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The source said, "The production process in the North Oil Company reached more than 360 thousand barrels per day, and we are working during the remaining months of the current year to reach production of 400 thousand barrels per day after developing and reclaiming a number of oil wells in fields affiliated with the North Oil Company, which were completed by the Iraqi Drilling Company within the Iraqi Ministry of Oil."[/rtl]
    [rtl]The source pointed out that "the current production is divided into 150 thousand barrels prepared for government refineries in Baiji and Dora refineries, as well as preparing other refineries specified by the Ministry of Oil with a limit of 100 thousand barrels, and the company deals with the remainder according to the needs of the oil company."[/rtl]
    [rtl]The source added, "The North Oil Company will enter a group of wells that have been developed and raise their oil production to the current total production of 360 thousand barrels per day."[/rtl]
    [rtl]In this context, oil expert Ali Khalil confirmed that “the current production of the North Oil Company, which amounts to about 360 thousand barrels, is considered an average level in the company’s overall production, because the company’s actual production can exceed 750 thousand barrels per day, and this rate means that the company’s production now amounts to about 50 percent of the total production.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]He stressed that "the Ministry of Oil must pay attention to the public sector, including the North Oil Company, and a development budget can be allocated for the company to increase its production, as the company was exporting between 500,000 and 750,000 barrels per day through the Turkish port of Ceyhan from 2009 to 2013."[/rtl]
    [rtl]Khalil also pointed out that "the halt in exports from Kirkuk fields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan contributed to the failure of the North Oil Company to raise the overall level of crude oil production, and even develop the company's infrastructure. There are sites and factories that need development, and this is reflected in the increase in production in the North Oil Company, and contributes to increasing the financial income of the Iraqi state treasury."[/rtl]
