Low inflation index in May increased by 3.0 percent

Central Bureau of Statistics ( NBS ) revealed in the Ministry of Planning for lower inflation indices during the month of May rose 0.3 percent , while the annual inflation rate rose in the month compared with the same month of the previous year 2015 by 2.5 percent.
He said the official spokesman of the ministry Abdul Zahra al - Hindawi in a statement received (morning) copy of it, that « the reason for the low monthly inflation for themonth of May the index came from his down records of the Department of food and non - alcoholic beverages increased by 2 percent to contribute by 175.1 percent in themonthly rate of change comes changes as a result of decrease in bread and cereals group by 0.1 percent from the previous month ».
