    According to the statement, the two sides discussed the latest developments of the Syrian crisis as well as the promotion of friendly relations between Iraq and Russia and expand their cooperation in the political, military and economic fields, especially all the investment and oil. 
    Through infallible "Iraq 's desire to further contribute to the development of Russian companies in the agricultural and industrial sectors, especially the oil industry , " calling to "provide all the necessary facilities for Russian investments in Iraq and encourage them to bring cutting - edge expertise to support the Iraqi economy." 
    President of the Republic stressed that " the fate of the people of Iraq, Syria and the peoples of the region and the world and one in the face of the threat of terrorism , " stressing " the importance of the Information and intelligence cooperation with Iraq in its war against terrorism." For his part , the transfer of large Bogdanov and his entourage, the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin to President Fuad Masum. 
    To that , the al - Jaafari during a meeting with Bogdanov, "Iraq 's desire to establish strategic relations with Russia extended a long, multi-term for the areas and sectors all political, economic and security , " noting that " the great victories that Iraqis have achieved in their war against Daesh terrorist gangs is a victory for all the world 's peoples and nations friendly , which sided with Iraq. " Russian envoy praised the "great victories achieved by the Iraqis in their war against Daesh terrorist gangs , " stressing that "Russia is continuing to support and support Iraq until the liberation of the entire territory of Iraq." 
    And on investment and economic cooperation between the two terms, he stressed Bogdanov, he will discuss during his visit to Baghdad ways of cooperation in the field of energy, electricity and accelerate a meeting of the Iraqi - Russian Joint Commission during the coming period. 
    Bogdanov also met with the Minister of Oil Jabar Luaibi, and agreed to set up a ministerial committee to approve future joint projects between the two countries. 
    During the first visit, a government statement said that the meeting Abadi Bgdanov "Search consolidation of relations between Iraq and Russia in the economic and trade fields, investment, security and exchange of information and qualification of cadres to work together with Russian companies in Iraq."
