Thousands in Basra demand the Government resignation

Basra (NINA) – Thousands of citizens took to the streets in Basra protesting lack of security, electricity and services in Basra and the whole of Iraq.
One of the demonstrators told NINA that thousands of citizens in Basra took to the street after Iftar (fast breaking) on Wednesday evening, July 23, demanding the Central Government's resignation for its inability to provide security to the citizens and lack of services, such as electricity and fresh water, as well as security violation and the secape of prisoners.
Recently, night protests are being repeated in most parts of the province, cities and towns, in demand to provide security and services, especially electricity. / End.
