Report: the high rate of unemployment in Kurdistan and Iraq to 25%
Twilight News / A report prepared by the Peace and Freedom in cooperation with the Norwegian People's Aid Organization on Saturday for the high rate of unemployment in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq from 20 percent to 25 percent, pointing out that the biggest unemployment rate recorded among graduates of institutes, universities and Alaaadadiat, while the ratio at least it recorded among the illiterate and non-holders of certificates.
A member of the field team, which prepared Repin Fattah report during the presentation of the report data in Erbil, said the deaths of workers during the year 2015 were only 15 cases, but he also said the ratio rose to 60 deaths in 2016 and in the first four months of this year died 14 workers.
On the unemployment rate, Fattah said unemployment in 2014 was 6.53% and increased in 2015 to 16.56%, while increased during the year 2017 to between 20 to 25%, explaining that the largest percentage of unemployment is during the year 2016 were recorded in the province of Dohuk and the least in Sulaymaniyah.
He added that the unemployment rate among graduates reached in 2015 to 21% who do not hold certificates 6%, pointing out that the largest unemployment rate recorded among the junior certificate holders and reached more than 24%.
