Thwarted an attempt to waste more than 43 billion dinars in government contracts and the issuance of judgments against 46 employees
BAGHDAD, June 6 (Xinhua) - The Integrity Commission revealed on Monday that the Office of the Inspector-General had been able to stop the waste of 43,968,204,000 billion dinars based on its observations in the field of auditing government contracts.
The Inspector-General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ibrahim Hamid Al-Zubaidi, that his office has audited (18) government contracts totaling (214,284,999,000) billion dinars and (18,337,000) million dollars, during the same period, in addition to the audit of (2530) agricultural contracts, "The transfer of seven employees to the Integrity and Judicial Commission, and the issuance of judicial judgments against (46) employees, in addition to the Office of the authorship of (111) commissions of inquiry."
