    The Iraqi Foreign Ministry expressed yesterday its surprise at the positions of its American counterpart from the popular crowd and its leaders.
    State Department spokesman Heather Neuert said last Friday at a press conference in Washington that the deputy chairman of the popular crowd Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes was a "terrorist," pointing out that the latter was listed on terrorism lists by the United States since 2009.

    Later, the Islamic Supreme Council confirmed that the State Department's statements against the leaders of the popular mobilization were in favor of what he called "separatist groups." 
    "Such statements place America in the internal crisis, to change the balance of power, which affects the unity and stability of Iraq and serves the extremist Takfiri and separatist groups," the Supreme Council said in a statement. For the region after its great victories. "
