BAGHDAD / The Ministry of the Interior revealed on Tuesday 142 cases of administrative and financial corruption in the ministry during the last month in Baghdad.
The Inspectorate said in a statement received by "Iraq News", that "the committees and sections of the Directorate of Inspection Baghdad in the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior was able to discover 142 cases of administrative and financial corruption in the departments and joints of the ministry in Baghdad during the month of May of 2018, And the audit carried out by the Directorate during the month.
"The Directorate of Baghdad inspection said in its report for the month of May that the offices and committees working in the directorates and departments of the ministry in Baghdad was able during the month of the discovery of 125 cases of administrative corruption and 17 cases of financial corruption.
According to the report, "the indicators of administrative corruption discovered were distributed between 83 cases of negligence, 19 cases of fraud, and 16 cases of functional exploitation, and 5 cases of abuse of power, and one case of abuse and the same irregularities of control."
The report also pointed out that "indicators of financial corruption were divided between 10 cases of bribery, and 4 cases of waste of public money, and cases of embezzlement, and the case of concealment of one material." Finished
