    Shafaq News / informed sources said on Saturday that the coalition of Nuri al-Maliki "law" and Hadi al-Amiri "Al-Fath" are seeking to take a step on their alliance with the coalition, "Sarun" led by Moqtada al-Sadr.
    Al-Hayat quoted the informed sources as saying that al-Maliki and al-Amiri were trying to persuade Sadr to join a large parliamentary bloc that includes two-thirds of the seats in the parliament, fearing Sadr's implementation of his threat to boycott the government and go to the opposition, "parliamentary and popular."
    He added that this fear that "the birth of a weak government is riven by divisions and pressure on the street, which is witnessing demonstrations and protests against unemployment and the deterioration of services."
    He said that "joining Sadr to the government will give it a momentum dedicated by the position of the Shiite cleric Ali al-Sistani, who announced his support of the protesters, calling for the formation of a government of technocrats."
    The members of the "Alliance of Victory" expected an imminent withdrawal of about 30 deputies from the coalition led by Abadi.
    Sources pointed out that the deputies retreating led by the head of the popular rally Faleh al-Fayadh, in addition to deputies belonging to the Virtue Party.
