Hundreds of students began arriving in [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1797/%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1][size=13]Tahrir Square in[/url] central Baghdad to take part in a general strike in the capital.
A local source said that the general strike was announced through loudspeakers in the areas of Bayaa, Amil and Sidiya southwest of Baghdad.
He said hundreds of students had gone from early morning to [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1797/%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1]Tahrir Square in the[/url] center of the capital to take part in the strike.
He explained that the people cut off the roads of most of the areas of Husseinieh, Shaab, Bayaa and areas east of the capital.
