Hundreds of people flocked to Baghdad's [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1797/%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1][size=13]Tahrir Square[/url] on Friday afternoon amid tight security.
A local source said that hundreds of people began arriving at [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1797/%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1]Tahrir Square in[/url] central Baghdad this afternoon to participate in the protests in the square and nearby areas since 25 October.
Earlier on Friday, a security source said security forces had taken heavy measures in the center of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ahead of Friday prayers.
It is scheduled to start a million demonstration after Friday prayers, this afternoon, in [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1797/%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1]Tahrir Square, the[/url] center of demonstrations in Baghdad.
